The Simmons Cancer Center: convenient, compassionate, complete care at UT Southwestern.
The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern is the only one in North Texas to receive a NCI (National Cancer Institute) designation. The medical professionals here are dedicated to easing the burden of the disease through exceptional patient care, transdisciplinary research, discovery, community engagement and education, partnership, and collaboration.
Simmons features over a dozen major cancer care programs that advance treatment and prevention through innovative therapies, leading-edge clinical trials and the latest technology. These programs are headed by multidisciplinary teams of expert clinicians and researchers each addressing scientific and clinical challenges unique to different cancers. The result is focused, first-class, customized care for all patients across a variety of disease types.
